Quantum Readiness. Evidenced. Managed. Assured.

From cryptographic discovery to continuous assurance.

QubitRnD helps organisations understand their cryptographic dependencies, assess their exposure to quantum-era security risks, and manage a structured transition towards post-quantum security.

We are developing the Technology Quantum Readiness Framework (TQRF™), a sector-neutral, evidence-led methodology for managing organisational quantum readiness, and QRFabric™, the future software platform designed to operationalise it.

The transition has a timetable

Data encrypted today can be captured and stored now, then broken once quantum computing matures. That places the longest-lived, highest-value records held by healthcare, government, telecoms and financial institutions at risk from the moment they are created.

2028
Complete cryptographic discovery, assess dependencies and build an initial post-quantum migration plan.
2031
Highest-priority systems migrated and infrastructure readied for full post-quantum adoption.
2035
Migration to post-quantum cryptography complete across systems, services and products handling long-lived sensitive data.

Milestones as set out in NCSC guidance on timelines for migration to post-quantum cryptography.

You cannot migrate what you cannot see.

Where does our cryptography actually exist?

Cryptography is embedded throughout modern technology environments, across infrastructure, applications, cloud services, suppliers, devices and business-critical systems. The transition to post-quantum cryptography therefore begins with a fundamental question.

Organisations need more than new algorithms. They need a way to discover cryptographic dependencies, establish reliable evidence, assess quantum vulnerability, understand migration pathways and maintain assurance as technology changes.

Technology Quantum Readiness Framework — TQRF™

TQRF is QubitRnD's sector-neutral, evidence-led methodology for helping organisations manage the transition towards post-quantum security.

Readiness should be evidenced, not assumed.

TQRF is designed around evidence-backed decision making. It distinguishes what technology is supported, what is actually configured, and what can be observed, while allowing uncertainty to remain explicitly unresolved rather than replacing missing evidence with assumptions.

The objective is to give organisations a defensible understanding of their cryptographic estate and the evidence needed to make informed transition decisions.

Supported
What the technology is capable of.
Configured
What is actually set in the environment.
Observed
What can be seen in operation.
Unresolved
What the evidence does not yet show, recorded as such.

From methodology to scalable technology

QRFabric™ is QubitRnD's proposed software platform for operationalising TQRF.

Its long-term purpose is to provide organisations with a persistent, evidence-backed representation of their cryptographic estate, connecting technology assets, cryptographic dependencies, evidence, quantum vulnerability, supplier migration pathways and assurance over time.

Validation first Automation second Continuous assurance ultimately

From framework to real-world validation.

TQRF is progressing through a structured real-world validation programme designed to test its methodology progressively, rather than assuming that a complete framework is already a validated framework.

Initial work focuses on validating the ability to discover cryptographic dependencies, resolve evidence and conduct evidence-backed initial quantum assessments within representative operational environments.

Findings from validation are fed back into the controlled TQRF methodology, and subsequently into QRFabric requirements.

TQRF Core is sector-neutral

QubitRnD's research is intended to support sectors with complex technology estates, long-lived information and significant cryptographic dependencies.
